With more than 25 years experience in all aspects of commercial real estate, Harold N. Cox has knowledge, perspective, and a track record of success.
Before starting Morgan, Cox & Slater, Ltd. in 1993, Harold was Vice-President/Director of Norris, Beggs & Simpson (NB&S) in Portland, Oregon. He led the company's offices in Portland and Bellevue, serving Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana. While at NB&S, he increased his production from $20 Million to over $100 Million.
He also served as Vice President/Manager at Union Bank in San Francisco, California. He had primary responsibility for Northwest Operations involving loan production and loan servicing. Harold was also the owner of Circle Properties, a portfolio of real estate subsidiaries including mortgage banking and construction.
Harold is a past president of the Oregon Mortgage Bankers Association and a licensed Real Estate Broker in Oregon, Washington and California. He is a graduate of Marylhurst College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. In 2000, Mr. Cox received the Franklin W. White Merit Award. This award is given each year to an OMBA member who has made an outstanding contribution to the OMBA and to the community.
His other activities include past president of the Portland Industrial Rotary Club, as well as many speaking engagements including seminars at real estate trade associations and lectures at Portland State University. He is also a contributing writer to industry trade magazines.
